The lock screen “Now Bar” displays ongoing tasks (stopwatches, timers, music, and so on). The “Live Notifications” feature inside the Now Bar can also show ongoing tasks in the status bar. When music is playing, the similarities become even more striking, almost copycat-esque! Though the placement is a little different, the functionality is essentially the same as Apple’s Dynamic Island.
